I am honored and excited to serve as the President of WNOCC for the 2020 year. For more than 30 years, WNOCC has been dedicated to serving women to improve their businesses and lives in Collier County in Southwest Florida. I am happy that we have amassed a history of concrete results and I look forward to a great year ahead.
WNOCC is a non-profit organization of many women committed to promoting women in leadership, connection and empowerment. Some of the avenues by which this is accomplished is by presenting speakers who provide valuable information that can be applied to our everyday lives. Our luncheons meetings are a great place to meet the top leaders in our community which makes for a fantastic place for networking.
This is the year that is very talked about as the year of clear vision- 2020. Our important goals this year is to continue to provide educational scholarships for single parents. We are proud to have had a very successful auction where we have already achieved our financial goal to award in the next coming months. Thank you to all the people who participated in this huge achievement.
Consistent with our mission to develop, connect and empower leaders, we are thrilled with the selected orators who are on the agenda to speak and train this year. For example, orators will train and discuss topics such as marketing, networking, and social media, just to name a few. Make sure to register for these meetings and bring a friend. We also will be discussing and implementing programs that will help our members expand their platforms to reach more people with their products, services, and opportunities.
I would like to thank our generous sponsors for their continued support, the many friends who support our mission by participating in our fundraising events and partners who add such value to our organization. I would also like to thank the amazing group of women who are serving on our Board of Directors this year who make this service fun and enjoyable. I invite all of you to join us on our journey toward a stronger group of women and community.
